Collaborative SOLUTIONS FOR FAMILIES
|
If your child is struggling to meet expectations, it is not because they are manipulative, attention-seeking, or unmotivated :( It is because they lack the skills to respond adaptively to the demands being placed upon them. Traditional parenting strategies rely heavily on "Plan A" -- artificial consequences to try to force compliance. This reactive cycle treats the behavior rather than the cause, leaving the underlying problem unsolved. And it's surprisingly easy to fall into Plan A! Working with a Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Provider allows you to shift away from "managing behaviors" and reacting from your own frustrations. I can help you move toward the compassionate, non-adversarial, and evidence-based approach of Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS).

HOW IT WORKS
- Shift Your Mindset: Stop viewing your child’s reactions as "bad behavior" and start seeing them as the sign of a specific, unsolved problem.
- Identify the Root Causes: Learn to use the Assessment of Skills and Unsolved Problems (ASUP) to precisely pinpoint what expectations your child is struggling to meet.
- Ditch the Power Struggles: Replace unilateral, adult-driven demands with a structured dialogue that builds mutual respect.
- Foster Long-Term Skills: Help your child develop critical lifelong cognitive skills like flexibility, frustration tolerance, and problem-solving through the CPS "Plan B" method.

Currently offering early bird pricing!!
In the future, I will use the "Green Bottle Method" Sliding Scale:
There are a limited amount of slots for services offered at the sliding scale cost. Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
There are no questions asked about which price point you select. There is no proof or paperwork required. You may choose a different price point for different sessions if your circumstances change.
In the future, I will use the "Green Bottle Method" Sliding Scale:
- The true cost of the service is the cost that the practitioner would charge all students in the absence of a sliding scale. If you have access to financial security, own property, have personal savings, would not traditionally qualify for sliding scale services, or are able to pay for "wants" and spend little time worried about securing necessities in your life, this price is for you.
- The sliding scale (lower) cost represents an honest acknowledgment that there are folks whose economic circumstances would prevent them from accessing support. If you struggle to maintain access to needs such as health care, housing, food, child care, and are living paycheck to paycheck or are in significant debt, you belong here.
- The pay-it-forward cost is an opportunity for those who have an abundance of financial resources to make it possible for more sliding scale opportunities to be available. Similar to rounding up at the register for a charity, but in this case you're directly supporting more families in your community accessing Collaborative and Proactive Solutions.
